Karen Lafleur has been with us since 2004, having virtually been raised in the accounting and tax profession. Karen was the firm’s dedicated sales and use tax manager for five years and continues to be actively involved in the area. She has experience in many states and has successfully negotiated reduced or eliminated assessments. She is versed in multiple areas of taxation including payroll, income and sales/use taxes. She is also a QuickBooks ProAdvisor and a member of the Institute of Professionals in Taxation.

Karen is a customer service advocate who is solution oriented. She continually improves and increases system checks and balances and works closely with our clients and staff to provide timely and useful accounting and data-management reports. She excels at research requests, particularly in the multi-jurisdictional environment.

Karen earned her B.A. in Accounting from the University of North Florida and Master of Accountancy from Stetson University.
